I am Thankful for….Monkeys

I am thankful for monkeys.  Monkeys are my favorite animals.

A couple of weeks ago we went to the zoo. There were about 15 different types of monkeys. I had two favorites, the chimp and the Golden Lion Tamarin.  Monkey Audrey was pretty cute too!

I like to draw monkeys. I have a whole book of monkey pictures that I drew. I love reading Curious George too. He is my favorite character 🙂

Thank you God for Monkeys!

I am Thankful for–Casteel

Momma said that Casteel and I have been friends from before we were born.  She and Auntie Kristi were waiting for us at the same time.  Casteel is almost a month younger than I am.  But we are great friends!

We like doing things together. Casteel learned how to ride with me on the pegs. I learned how to stand on the pegs without trying to fall off!  In the other picture Casteel and I made leaf crowns and had fun being silly.

Thank you for being my friend Casteel!  I wish we lived closer, but I am glad we are still good friends!

Thank you God for Casteel!

I am Thankful For–Miss Kay

Miss Kay is my new pastor’s wife. She is very nice. I made her one of my special friendship bracelets. She drew me this monkey. She said she drew it from looking at the monkeys I drew her. (In case you don’t know,  I like to draw monkeys :)  )

She likes to talk to me. She likes my pictures. I like to draw her special pictures just for her. She has not been feeling well, so I am praying for her.

Thank you God

for Miss Kay!

I am Thankful for…

I am thankful for friends. This is my friend Brooklynn. She is a tad bit older than me and we are about the same size.

We like to hide our face, feet and hands and ask someone to ask Mom who is who. We like to dress up like twins. Sometimes when we are not in the same room, Momma says “hey Audrey,” but its actually Brooklynn.  🙂

We both like to climb and do things together.

I thank God for friends!

Newest Crea

Today a new crea was born. When I went into the fields to see her (or him) it came right over to me.  The mom let me pet it.  I got to carry it into the barn.

She (or he) is smaller than the last one and LOTS lighter.

Auntie Kristi, you now have a “birthday twin”!  Happy Birthday!

P.S. We now know that it is a boy and his name is Chirpa. Guess what else?  I got to name it! When we walked in the barn to check on him, I saw a little note on a hay bale. There was a sticky note that said “Audrey gets to pick”. There were two boy names and two girl names I could chose from. He weighs 15.5 pounds! He is the lightest so far.

Butterfly Update

We let free two butterflies.  This one is Zee.  His sister was Chimp.

So far we had two die-one was a just born caterpillar and one just before emerging. We have one in a chrysalis, and released 7.

I think that is all that we will have for this year. They need to fly south.
