12th Day of December
Snow Fun
It snowed yesterday! I made a snow monkey and a snow family. Megan made a snow mom. I want lots more snow this year! I hope it’s packing snow too.
Today, Megan was throwing snowballs at everybody. Andrea made Megan a whole bucket of snowballs. She had fun in the snow!
The end 🙂
Do You Know?
Adrian is in first grade! When you learn how to tie your shoe, say the Pledge of Allegiance, a few phone numbers and your address and some other basics, you graduate to first grade. Then you get a blog!
Momma designed all the kid’s blogs on the sly. Except Adrian’s. He knew about his. He knew when he passed the test, he got a blog. So he helped design it.
You can see Adrian’s new blog here! If you look at my favorite’s on the sidebar, you will be able to link up to Momma’s blog and all of us kids!
I hope that you enjoy his blog!
Donuts
On the way to Canada, we stopped at a donut’s store. I tried the raspberry filled. Three days later we were back at the donut store because Adrian asked if we could have another donut. I really liked the raspberry filled so I had that plus sampled everyone else’s. Yum! Those were good!
Thank you Daddy for taking us!
Stolen Dress
One of my favorite dresses was a blue jean dress with a bunny and a butterfly on it. I wore it all the time because it was cute on me and I liked it.
This morning Megan was wearing the same dress. I was teasing her that she stole my dress. Then she kept saying it was her dress. I said it was mine. Then Megan ran off giggling.
She looks cute in it. I think she likes it too!
I am thankful for……….
Thanksgiving
A time to remember the first Thanksgiving when people who wanted freedom to serve God left everything (mostly) to go a strange land so they could be free to preach about God. They were thankful because they met some Indians and they helped hunt turkey and deer. The Indians did a lot of things. The Indians helped the pilgrims survive. The pilgrims were thankful that they could live freedom with neighbors and that God helped them survive too by sending the Indians.
I am Thankful for….Siblings!
Yesterday we all got a piece of chocolate. Then we tied Mark up. We put all of the chocolate wrappers on the floor beside Megan while she ate her chocolate.
We posed the picture so it looked like Megan was saying “ha ha, I have chocolate and you can’t have any!”
I hope you like this picture.
Thank you God for Crazy Siblings!
I am Thankful for-Sewing
We went to Mrs. Beers (our neighbor) and we did crafts. We made little dolls and we looked in some of her scrap material. She gave me some material that she had used to make pajama pants for her granddaughter. There was enough left to make me some too. It was a little short, so we added some plain brown material to the bottom of it.
I did all the sewing except finishing up the hem. I was having trouble with it and it was the first time I ever tried. Momma said I need a lot more practice!
I am thankful that Mrs. Beer gave me some monkey material. I am thankful that Momma taught me how to sew.
This is the very first thing that I have made almost all by myself. Except a little smidgen of it. I really, really, really like them. They are nice and warm and I have not taken them off today. 🙂
I am Thankful for… Leaf Piles
We were raking leaves at church. We got a BIG leaf pile. If Mark was standing, it was at tall as him, and it was maybe ten times as him laying down. I got thrown in a couple of times. And then I got a leaf ride on the tarp.
I am thankful for huge leaf piles to play in! Thank you to Mr. Jay and Mr. Brice for playing with me too 🙂
