Undefeated!

  Undefeated!

GoalscoreMy team is undefeated this year!

At the first half, we trouble staying ahead the whole time. Then the second half, we were ahead of them the whole time.  The team we played was a good team and fun to play.

We had fun this year, I think it was our best year!  Momma and Daddy say they wish they could “stack a team” next year and have all of us again.

Soccer Game

Audrey goalWe played against a team that had few of my team mates from a couple of years ago. It was fun playing with them again.

When the one played on my team, she never made a goal until the very last game. Her dad said he would pay her $20 if she made a goal. She made three! One was by accident, but the other two we passed to her and she made it.

Audrey runningAfter our game this week, Becca’s dad told me that I had to tell Mom and Dad that they had to pay me $80.  I told Mom and she laughed.

This week our score was 9-1! So far we are undefeated :)  Becca said she had  fun playing with me again.

Just before the game ended, my friend Evie, crashed into another girl. Evie whacked her head on the ground and the other girl hurt her wrist. Please pray for both of the girls. I don’t know about the other girl, but Evie had a slight concussion. She went to the doctor and she was told she can’t play sports for six months! She is doing better now though.

My last game is Saturday. If we win, we will be an undefeated team. A few years ago, we were the “unlosable” team. We never won a game though we did tie once. We had a lot of fun both years, but it is fun to win :)  Daddy said he wishes he could get this team again next year.

Flopsy and cupcakes

For my  birthday  we made big bubbles and glow in black light bubbles. Momma cut open some florescent markers and soaked the wick in about a half cup bubble solution. When it got dark, we blew the bubbles by a black light so we could see them.

Flopsy came over and brought me cupcakes. Grandma and Grandpa said when they pulled into the driveway, she started whimpering to get out and play. She knows where we live!

We had lots of fun.

June 1st Soccer Game

congratulationsDaddy is trying something new for soccer. One of us will be on the left, another on the right. One will be defense and one in the center. He is changing it so we are not all together and it is harder for us to try to steal it from our team mates. Since Upward soccer rules are a little different than “normal” soccer, we have not played like that before. It is tough. Coach Daddy says we will practice a lot more during practices.

I don’t know if we did as well as we normally do. But we still won; 4 to 3. Audrey

Kittens

HollyCatToday we went to check on the new alpaca.  Mrs. Beer was there. She  said that she couldn’t find the kittens.   We found them under a workbench. We did not know she had kittens.  Mrs. Beer said when they went to pick up an alpaca, they had new kittens and asked Mrs. Beer if they wanted some.

The one is nice and fluffy and the other one has stripes. They are sisters and they do not look alike at all! They are both shy, but the soft one is the shyest. The striped one will show Mark his claw, and Mark only likes cats that show him their claws. She purrs when you hold it. Megan can hold the striped one, the other one jumps out of her arms and hides.Kitten

Cherry Cobbler Day

CobblerHappy Cherry Cobbler Day!

Today we made some cherry cobblers for the neighbors and for our dessert. It was good!  Here is the recipe in case you want to make it.  It was very sweet, so you might want to cut down on the sugar.

Easy Cherry Cobbler Recipe

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (or use all flour)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups sour cherries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 TBL flour

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Pour melted butter into a 9×13 inch pan. Combine the flour, almond flour, sugar and baking powder.  Mix in the milk and then pour over butter in pan without stirring.

In a clean bowl combine cherries with 1/2 cup sugar and tablespoon of flour. Add to the top of batter without stirring.

Bake for about an hour until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream 🙂

**We did not follow the directions and doubled the recipe and it still fits into a 9 x 13 inch pan in case you need A LOT!**
