Mrs. Crepensick, a friend at church, taught me how to knit socks! I was making slipper socks and I asked her how to do the heel. She said that I needed really thin yarn and smaller needles. She bought them for me!
She started to show my how to knit them last January (I think). I finished the first one. Then I started the second one. I was at the heel and then took a break over the summer. I do not like knitting in the summer!
Momma kept telling me I HAD to finish my sock, I HAD to finish my sock. I brought it out and it took me three days to finish it.
They were easy! I will probably make more, but I want to learn how to knit a sweater now 🙂
Those are really cool! I hope I can get good enough to make socks!
Love,
Evie
Glad you like to learn to knit. It is a very soothing past time. I think that it is great to make something that YOU like!
