Today’s guest speaker is Megan.  She wanted to tell you about Adrian’s first soccer game this year.

Adrian he was at a soccer game.  Adrian’s soccer game.  I was watching him and then I was playing on the swing set.  I sat on Oma’s lap and was a little pink worm.  Because I wanted to. He kicked the ball.  It went into the goal!  He made a first goal in the game (in the first game of the season!) It took three minute to get it. He played more of the game. And more of the game. Then he made his next goal. Adrian made another goal, but nobody know who it was. Adrian doesn’t think he did it. The udder team won, Adrian said 6-9. Then I say “The End.”

I helped Megan make Turtles in the Mud. This is how to make them, according to Megan, our guest cook.

In the cupboards get Rolos, pecans and/or M&Ms and  pretzels. On a pan, put the pretzels on, with Rolos on top. Have Anya bake for 5 minutes  till the chocolate get melted. Then I put on pecan and then more and then more. Then I done. Cool then eat them.

You can put pretzel M&M’s on them or regular M&M’s. They also work if you use gluten free pretzels.  Momma said the Rolo’s ingredients are gluten free, but they might have gluten in them from where they make them. So if you can eat a little gluten, you can make them too.  Daddy really liked them.

For school today we had to write a poem.  Momma said it had to be about snow. Here is my poem.

Snow

Snow can be light

Snow can be heavy

Snow can be seven feet high!

You can can make snow pies

Have snow fights

Make snowmen

When your cold

come inside

Hot cocoa time!

For Thanksgiving, Megan and I were looking at the calendar. She saw the picture were I was a turkey last year and she wanted one too. We made her one. She wanted the feathers to be pink and purple, I made mine colorful.

When we got to Uncle Sam’s we rang the doorbell and said we were the Thanksgiving turkeys. Henri saw it. He liked mine so we put it on him. He really liked it and Uncle Sam was teaching Henri how to say “gobble gobble!”

 

Sometimes, Momma and Daddy let me stay up late to read. I love to read in bed at night!

Yesterday a new alpaca was born. I hope you like these pictures of newborn Obe and his Mom, Ruby. He is the birthday twin of Chirpa. Megan thinks he is her birthday twin too, because we were celebrating her birthday when we got the phone call he was born.

Meet Kitty! Megan named it. He is a Eastern Black Swallowtail. He is our first one to emerge!

I think he is a boy because the males have more yellow above the blue.  Females have small yellow dots and more blue on their wings. We think when he closes his wings he is prettier than when his wings are open.

We let him free after playing with him for two days. He really liked the butterfly bush we put him on and ate for a long time. Monarchs usually eat a little and then fly up high into a tree.

I think we have seen him once since letting him go.

 

We are getting ready to start school.

We are doing verses this year. Right now we are reviewing what we learned already. We are going to read the Bible in chronological order. We will also do our normal school work.

We did our self portraits (we try to do one at the beginning of every year). Momma said I am getting lots better on my drawing.

I am looking forward to doing a lot of different kinds art!
