December Monarchs
This year I had seven December butterflies! Next year I would like to try to have caterpillars in December.

For the past couple of days I have been dog-sitting our neighbor’s dog during the day. Max is good. He loves to play ball and follow me around while I feed the cats and goats.

Sunday, my first November monarch emerged! I have had six more emerge, 3 males and 6 females. Now I am waiting for one more!
Dressed for Fall
Today-November 1st- I have 10 monarchs! 9 chrysalises and 1 large caterpillar. I am hoping to have butterflies over Christmas.

Got Milk…weed?
Last week one of my monarch butterflies laid 64 eggs! I am hoping I will be able to raise them. It looks like most of the caterpillars hatched! All my milk weed is dying so if anyone has good milkweed and is willing to share I would like some.
One Hundredth Monarch!
Yesterday I released my lasted and one hundredth monarch!
I did not reach my goal of 200 monarch butterflies but I did have 400 monarch eggs that I was able to share while I was on vacation.
