Surprise Day!

Audrey and surprise goatToday two baby goats were born across the street. We did not know Blackie, the Mom, was pregnant.  The girls like the brown and black one.  The boys like the black one.

What a neat way to start National Surprise Day! On National Surprise Day, you are supposed to see how many suprises there are. They have to be nice surprises, like baby goats and new art drawing pads under pillows 🙂

I am going to celebrate by enjoying the new baby goat surprise. I may do a few surprises too.

P.S.  Today is actually “Make your Own Holiday” Day.  So I decided to do a Surprise Day when we learned about the baby goats this morning.

P.S.S I really wanted to make it National Do No Math Day, but Momma says we have to do it 🙁

Contest Pictures

I entered these  pictures for a contest held at the Concord Mall. The Park’s Department has the contest so they could find new pictures for their “marketing material” and for the fun of it.

All of us, except Megan put at least one in.  Momma snuck one in for Daddy.  She found an atmosphere picture that Daddy took and secretly got it ready for the contest.

If  you want to see our pictures they  will be displayed in the Concord Mall’s Community Room

Starting at noon on January 25

National Whip Cream Day

Whip CreamToday we have a guest speaker…

Megan

“I like wip ceam. Wip ceam is um. Om ma is be.”

Translated, she says, “I like whip cream. Whip cream is yum.  Home made is best!”

Momma says to make whip cream, pour some cold cream in a bowl.  Add some maple syrup or sugar and beat it until it is fluffy. Don’t over beat or it will be butter 🙂

What is your favorite way to eat whip cream?
