I got to hold Snuffy. He is a Corn Snake. He has been around kids ever since Miss Krista had him. He is nice.
There was a Garter snake, it was smaller than the Corn snake. We could not hold that one because it was not around kids so much and was wiggly.
I putted the big one around my neck. It went down Mark’s vest. It came out funny, funny, funny.
Adrian held the Corn Snake. And Adrian had the Corn Snake like a leash with a clear (invisible) dog.
The Corn Snake eats mice. He eats two or three mice every two or three weeks. He does not eat any time else except mosquitoes.
I had fun.

I have a new boy butterfly! His name is Flower (we thought he was a girl).
Momma tried a new trick. She learned about it from a book. She made a little envelope and put the butterfly in carefully. We put the envelope in the refrigerator for three minutes (Momma said NEVER longer than 5
minutes!). We took it out and it was moving very very slowly, because it was cold. (Momma said that they are cold blooded, and the cooler refrigerator makes them cold. So they need to warm up).

We have been raising Monarch butterflies. I raised a girl Monarch butterfly. I have a chrysalis, two caterpillars and one egg. I like my caterpillars. The biggest caterpillar we have is Georgie. Soon the butterfly should be hatching.
When their wings are straight, straight, straight, we release them. You have to pinch them by their body in the front. You pinch them soft. Then you take them outside and put them on a thistle that is open or a flower. Put them on a thistle and they will stay and eat.
