We saw a few flying, but no caterpillars or eggs. Just before camp I had 5\u00c2\u00a0Monarch caterpillars. When I got back I found 48 more!<\/p>\n<p>Today I had three of my Monarchs emerged! All three of them are girls.<\/p>\n<p>Right now I have<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 Butterflies<\/li>\n<li>8\u00c2\u00a0chrysalises<\/li>\n<li>50 Monarch caterpillars, all sizes and<\/li>\n<li>20\u00c2\u00a0eggs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I hope to raise over\u00c2\u00a0100\u00c2\u00a0Monarchs this year!!!\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/audrey.mcguireclan.org\/?attachment_id=3645\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3645\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3645\" src=\"https:\/\/audrey.mcguireclan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Three-Butterflies-e1469569216141.jpg\" alt=\"Three Butterflies\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>P.S. \u00c2\u00a0Today I found 9 Eastern Black Swallowtail eggs and 5\u00c2\u00a0Eastern Black Swallowtail caterpillars that are really little. \u00c2\u00a0I hope we caught them before parasitic wasps did!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Until the week before camp, we could not find any Monarchs at all.
