We are pretending today is my real birthday!<\/p>\n<p>I wanted a baby alpaca to be born on my birthday.\u00c2\u00a0 Today, our neighbor came home real quick to do something when the dogs started to bark and bark and bark. So she went out to see what was wrong. Alaska (the mom alpaca) was having her baby! Our neighbor got her gloves and had to help pull it out a little bit. The new baby is a BIG baby, she weighs 18.2 pounds! Mark thinks the last baby only weighed about 15 pounds! The vet came over after\u00c2\u00a0 and said everything is okay.<\/p>\n<p>The neighbor called Mark and told him to come over after the baby was born. The rest of us followed soon after. So we got to see a few minute old baby!<\/p>\n<p>I am excited!
